What we collect
Your name, email, phone number, academic details, the documents you upload and the messages you send to Summit counsellors.
Why we collect it
To show you programmes you qualify for, to prepare and submit your university applications, and to support your visa application.
Who can see it
Your documents can only be accessed by you and the Summit counsellor assigned to you. Your profile, applications and messages are visible to you, your counsellor and Summit administrators, who manage the service. We share documents with a university only as part of an application you have asked us to make.
How it is stored
Your account and files are stored with our hosting provider in private, access-controlled storage. Download links expire after a few minutes.
Ari and Vera (AI assistants)
If you use Ari or Vera, what you write in a session, your basic profile details (not your contact details) and, for Vera document reviews, only the documents you choose are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce the feedback. You confirm before any document is sent, and every document review is recorded. Your Ari and Vera sessions are private: only you can see them, not your counsellor or Summit administrators. To build on your progress, Ari or Vera may use the feedback from your own earlier sessions with them. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
Your choices
You can update your profile at any time and delete files you uploaded. You can permanently delete your account and all its data yourself in Settings.
How long we keep documents
Your documents and the files shared in your messages are deleted automatically 45 days after your last application closes (withdrawn or not successful), unless you start a new application. We remind you 7 days before. Payment receipts are kept as financial records while your account exists.
